Dieser eintägiger Workshop wurde für die Kunstvermittler des „Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo“ (MAM) durchgeführt, im Rahmen der Ausstellung von Marcel Duchamp.

Zu dieser Gelegenheit waren die Kunstvermittler eingeladen, einen anderen Bezug zu der Ausstellung herzustellen. Sie sollten nicht wie gewöhnlich über die Werke referieren, sondern eine kurze Aktion entwickeln (alleine oder in der Gruppe). Diese Aktion sollte auf performativer und besonders stummer Weise, über den Inhalt eines bestimmten Werkes von Duchamp erzählen – so konnten die Kunstvermittler im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, die Werke „einverleiben“ oder anders begreifen.

This one-day workshop was held for the art educators of the "Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo" (MAM) as part of the Marcel Duchamp exhibition.

The art educators were invited to create a different relationship to the exhibition. Instead of the usual practice of providing verbal information about the works, they were asked to develop a short action (alone or in a group). This action should talk about the perception of a particular work by Duchamp in a performative but most importantly voiceless way, so that the art educators could, in the truest sense of the word, “incorporate” the work or understand it in a different way.
