In diesem einwöchigen Workshop im „Centro Cultural b_arco“ (São Paulo) wurde mit den Teilnehmern Arthur Moreau, Felippe Tribuzzi, Luisa Nobrega, Mavi Veloso, Marta Matushita eine Installation-Performance entwickelt.

Diese Installation mit dem Titel: Intervalos. Interrupções. Passos em Falso (Pausen. Störungen. Fehltritte) ist als eine Gruppenarbeit entstanden, ausgehend von einzelnen Sätzen und Bildern, die am Anfang des Workshops gesammelt wurden - da jeder aus einer anderen Disziplin kam (Architektur, Theater und Kunst), war es wichtig, dass ein gemeinsamer Nenner oder „Raum“ gefunden wird.

Aus diesem Grund wurde der Raum, beziehungsweise ein blauer Ausstellungsraum, in drei verschiedene Arbeitsbereiche geteilt: Improvisation, Lesung und Darstellung. In jedem dieser Bereiche wurden mehrere Übungen durchgeführt, insbesondere körperlicher und gestalterischer Art - der Wechsel zwischen zeichnen und sich bewegen, sowie schreiben und lange in einer Haltung bleiben, war eine Konstante.

Zum Schluss wurde die Installation im öffentlichen Raum präsentiert; d.h. es wurde ein nahlegender Ort ausgesucht, an welchem die Teilnehmer während einer Stunde agieren sollten. Dieser Ort war eine leere Fläche oder so eine Art „Lücke“, die sich zwischen einem Möbelladen und einem Garten befand - der perfekte Rahmen für diese stille und zugleich humorvolle Aktion.

An installation performance was created in this one-week workshop at the "Centro Cultural b_arco" (São Paulo) with the participants Arthur Moreau, Felippe Tribuzzi, Luisa Nobrega, Mavi Veloso and Marta Matushita.

This installation, called Intervalos. Interrupções. Passos em Falso emerged as a group work based on individual phrases and images that were collected at the beginning of the workshop. As each of the participants had a background in a different discipline (architecture, theatre and art), it was important to find a common denominator or “space”.

The space, a blue exhibition room, was therefore divided up into three different working areas, for improvisation, reading and portrayal. Several exercises were performed in each of these areas, in particular physical and artistic exercises, in which switching between drawing and moving, as well as writing and holding a position for a long time, was a constant.

The installation was presented in a public space at the end, i.e. a nearby location was sought in which the participants would perform for an hour. The location used was an empty surface, a gap between a furniture shop and a garden – the perfect space for this silent but humorous action.
